I'm Back!

Yes, it has been almost a year since I've last written. I did read well over 100 books in 2010, but didn't continue my list. Ah, well.

I've made doll quilts, knit socks, hats, and mittens and begun teaching knitting classes. I've lost quite a bit of weight by eating healthier and going to the gym three times a week. I'm still working two days a week as a reference librarian/archivist at a university library. Next year? I'm still mulling it over. Oh, I'll continue everything I did last year, but I love new challenges.

One idea I've been considering is to research a woman's diary in the university archives where I work and use that as a basis to write a book including either knitting or quilting projects focused on the time frame of the diary. That could be a fun as well as a daunting project.
